The eternal quest for the perfect base: What foundation should I pick?

I can almost guarantee that those of you who are reading this post are currently embarking on, or have been on the never ending quest for the perfect base.

Sometimes this quest seems nigh impossible.

If you have one skin type all over your face, and it never seems to change even in different seasons and climates, then you have been blessed and should pray to the Goddess of complexion regularly.πŸ™πŸ»

If, however like the majority of us, your skin has more issues than vogue then you probably have a fair few foundations in your make up draw.

But what one is the right one for you? πŸ€”

Is there truly, as we all hope for, one holy grail of foundation or do we need a one for every day of the year?

Well, I’ve done a little bit of research, and by research I mean I have spent hours and hours on YouTube and Google, πŸ’» and in boots, and Superdrug, Selfridges and John Lewis and finally have a mini Foundation Guide.πŸ“š

The guide deals with the five questions I had/have about foundation…

What skin type am I?πŸ“•

What finish do I want?πŸ“™

What coverage do I want?πŸ“˜

Which type of foundation should I πŸ“—choose?

How should I apply it?πŸ““

I’ll be dealing with one question a week over the next few weeks, so if you don’t want to keep checking back a cheeky email subscription should keep you in the loop. (Yes I know, Shameless plug for a subscription!)

A Plea: If you read one of these and disagree, or have a hidden grain of magic on foundations please tell me and share your secrets!

We are all in this together

Also if you have any questions you want me to add, then I’m more than happy to do more foundation investigations (Any excuse to shop right?!)
